The most embarrassing situations..................
Every one in their life would have had a situation which was embarrassing. It happens everywhere, say in your house, in your Bus, in your office, while having food. It is synonymous and how does one tackle it? One way of tackling it is to enjoy the situation your self and try not to repeat it again.
When a neighbor rings up in the evening, the time one would return from office, generally the kids are asked to say that they have gone out. But what they do is really embarrassing:
Kid: Hello!
Gupta: Can you call Mr. Sharma? its Gupta here.
Mr. Sharma tells silently to the kid "Tell him I have gone out"
Kid: Papa just told me to tell you that, he has gone out
Now what will Mr. Sharma do…………………..
Now in the school Rahul has prepared a few slides for presentation. When his chance comes he goes to present them and thus click his file…..Voila!! The system replies ‘FILE NOT FOUND’. Surely I don’t wanna be in this situation!
This is the most embarrassing thing which happens in almost every public place, a person waves his hand from a far of place and we respond to it, only to notice that the guy was actually pointing to some one behind u.
Hotels are the biggest place to get embarrassed; people in Chennai usually want to eat Idlis with Fork and Knives!! Nothing wrong, but once wat happened to my friend was, he poked a fork in a big piece of idly, which got struck and was using his hand to remove it!! Later he used the fork again only to repeat it!!!!!
There is a computer showroom near my house and wat happened there was really embarrassing!!! He had put up an advt for new computers and I went there for the demo, He told me the system is very trendy and doesn’t crash. After the boot screen I didn’t see the Windows logon screen but the blue scan disk screen!!!!

Now most of us would have traveled in Bus or the local train. If you are inside the Bus or Train many people would certainly ask you the routes. You should answer them only if you know or else one should keep quiet. Here is a conversation which will tell why.
Raja (standing outside the Bus): Excuse me, Will this bus stop at Adyar.
Sanjay (Sitting inside the Bus): Yeah….Even I am going there only….
Raja boards the bus and sits next to Sanjay……..the conductor comes…..
Sanjay: A ticket for Adyar
Conductor: Sorry this bus doesn’t stop at Adyar……….There is another bus parked behind this bus which stops there!!!
Rang De Basanti vs. Lage Raho Munnabhai
So, this year two films from India are going to Oscars. It further emphasizes the coming of age of the Indian cinema and also the quality of the movies produced in India. 'Rang de Basanti' and 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' are the two entries to the Oscars.
It was in Mid January and was a Friday, I and two more friends decided to watch 'Rang de.....'.We were 15 minutes late and once I entered the hall, the now-popular number 'Patashala' was running and all the usual dance routine were going on. I silently sipped into my Pepsi thinking that this is the same old shit, teenage guys enjoying around then there are two girls to dance over with. But the next one and half hour which I spent in the Hall was the most memorable experience I had. Coming out of the theatre I was feeling an urge- an urge to do something for the society.

The story itself is unique, blending the past and drawing comparison with the present. And the characters involved were really worth relating with. But what is the consequence of the movie in real life? There are more than one to relate with, The Jessica Lal case was reopened, the protest against the construction of dam in Gujarat by the NBA activists got rejuvenated, The protest against the quota system also appears to have got inspired by the movie.
So is the movie a real trend setter? Or is it a burst against the Govt. for their undoing? Or is it just a mass movie? Now let us take the main plot of the movie, it is the case of Govt not caring for the people and negligence towards a given incident. This can be related to our real life. But should a film portraying such a thought be sent to Oscars? A stage where u represent your country. Well, frankly speaking it is a very controversial question. Apart from this the movie itself is a role model for the citizens of the country. Don't just ask the Govt. to implement change and later sit and complain! Be involved in the change and try to do it!
Now coming to the next movie 'Lage Raho Munnabhai', it looks more like the Indian version of Hollywood's Dumb and Dumber. Come on, today will any one in our country clean up the walls, again and again so that the pan-spitter will be ashamed! In real life today the owner of the house will be ashamed to clean the walls and will be a laughing stock of the neighborhood. It certainly don't relate with today's life. Take another scene in the movie, an old pensioner goes to the pension office and gives the bribe-asking officer everything right from his spectacles to his clothes thus making the officer give away the pension in embarrassment! Today in our real life if a pensioner does some thing like this, then he will be embarrassed by the entire staff and will be made a laughing stock. Definitely it gives doses of laughter and Munna and Circuit are the best ever comedy pair in Hindi cinema.

Both the movies point out to the problems in a country and how to solve it. One movie suggests that go and fight it out whereas the other movie suggests that give the other cheek when u get a slap! I dare imagine that had Gandhi returned today he will in fact advocate implementing stronger laws and more strict dealing with the society. Most of us has forgotten that Gandhi was a barrister (lawyer) who didn’t compromise on truth. He was a very shrewd man who stood up for law and was ready to fight for the justice. I dare say that, no one in the whole world would have spoken to the British like how he did in South Africa. So when he was young he was also rebellious but in a non violent way. His biggest tool, civil disobedient movement was also brewed with violence. He was an apostle who wanted peace. Once he even told that when it comes to giving up one's self respect, he would prefer VIOLENCE. As he became a father figure for the nation he had to practice certain ideals which will be taken as example, thus he advocated his 'Harijan Theory' etc.
So wat was the difference between Gandhi and Bhagat Singh, Bhagat Singh was a rebel whereas Gandhi was a leader. Bhagat Singh was a firebrand who was more haste and wanted result. Gandhi was a statesman, had a thought for the future, how many of us know about the famous trial where he defended himself and made the British clueless? Following Gandhism is not only being honest, truthful, and non-violent but also stand up and fight for your right!
According to me Rang De Basanti is a much better selection for the Oscars and lets all hope that a film like that gets its due recognition. As far as Lage Raho..... is concerned, the movie is a good laugh aloud riot and a must watch Bollywood masala movie.
SMS......Spoiling the English language or simplyfying it?

That Day when my friend sent me the msg "Im gonna cum at 9pm", I was taken aback. For reason, being a dull witted fellow weren't able to understand the meaning in the first glance and secondly interpretated the meaning of the sentence. Today all of us, including yours truly hardly give a heck for the grammer and the english usage. Everyone, when wanna send a message, just take out the cell phone jam our fingers on the cell phone and send it over as fast as possible.
After inventing the desi brand of english now we are 'SMSising' the language to an extent that Shakesphere himself would have thought of writing back his works in the form of SMS language. Recently during an interview one english professor from a famous university was crying foul over the current SMSisation of the language. Obviously, One cant really expect users to be scholastic and to adhere to correct spelling during SMSing.

We generally use a lot of smileys and emoticons which represent feelings and other important occasions or just used to irritate others. Hence we are generally moving towards communication with few and few words. In October two years back, The Bible of was translated into the SMS version. The Beginning of the SMS verses of the Bible are as follows: "In da bginnin God cre8d da havens and erth. Da ertg waz barren wit no 4m of lif; it waz unda a roarin ocean cuvrd wit drkness". There are in all 31,173 text msgs that can be freely accessed. They revealed that it took a person nearly about 4 weeks to convert the Old and New Testatement into the sms version. Sending the entire bible would take more than 30000, text msgs.
Here are some common SMS abbreviations:
CU---See you
BRB---Be Right Back
D---The
Ez---Eazy
GTG---Got To Go
K---OK
l8---Late
l8r---Later
NE---Any
Ne1---Anyone
NO1---No one
XLNT---Excellent
OMG!---Oh My God!
NP---No Problem
