Windows Media Player 11- Microsoft's Latest Digital Music Player:

After the long wait microsoft finally released the latest version of the media player - -11--. The first thing that strikes the user is its new interface which is very glossy and a definite move over from the previous versions. The menu is simplified a lot and still the users can switch to the old menu by right clicking on the media player pane.

The control is also equally well defined and the mot important factor is it feels light and loads very quickly compared to any other previous version and also compared to some of its competetiors.

Apart from the black chrome image which is employed throughout the application the major change is in the form of the way the wmp 11 handles the media library. Previously the library in their wmp 10 etc ued to be in the form of databases and full of lengthy text. Here they are replaced by graphic images containing albums and other stuff and it is a visual pleasure.

The listpane has also undergone some nice little changes for example u can save a playlist and then save the new playlist and all that stuff

But the problem lies in synchronising with the portable mp3 players......it is not as good as i tunes...
